To me, a friend is a friend, whether furred, feathered, or only with skin. Someone who is always interested in what you are doing, whether it involves cookies or not. Just because a cat takes time to get to know and often is too busy to see we need attention, doesn't at all mean there's nothing much to know about a cat. And every single one is so different and charming. (Okay, so the girl is with a dog; so are my cats.)
